Please note this program is Commonwealth Supported (equivalent to former HECS scheme)

Some courses only offered on campus but 98% of this program is available via distance learning, and most of this is done online.

Oh man, I've not had any proper rants or raves on my LJ for YEARS. That will change soon enough when I'm stuck between a job (or two), study, and all my hobbies.

Well, cut off date for applications is tomorrow...Talk about cutting it CLOSE! I also have no clue if there is space for me, but it doesn't matter. I'm just happy I an go to the uni of my choice, whether I start this year or the next.

I made my decision in -- ok, more than a day because I applied early, but basically it was over dinner at Pancakes on the Rocks with friends, me griping about what I wanted to do and not knowing how to get it, and friend who worked in legal recruiting said I should get a masters and specialise, it'll look good on resume, so HEY GOOD IDEA offto investigate USyd and UNSW which led to HEY UNSW HAS A PERFECT COURSE then the rest was history.

I'm starting to wish Mel had logged on at least a week ago or something. I cannot believe I applied the day before cut off -_- Do you think there's a chance the course is too full for me? o_o

And darn it, they've yet to reply to my email regarding transcript XD They're having a grand 'ol time worrying me to death.

And I think I'm a little late in asking but, What is it you study?

Funny story: GIS is the sole reason I'm getting into this craziness! I need it for work, but I didn't get taught it as an undergrad student. I was flailing around trying to find some single GIS course to do when my friend pounced on me with this idea of "Master Degree, NOW!" so here I am XD

Long ago, I was studying graphic design...now I study world history. I have to take just about all of the geography classes my college provides and one of them is a GIS hybrid course, which is kind of cool. :D

College is awesome. And boo to those who don't think so (like half of the people in the classes I take.) XDD

Haha, yeah...but sometimes I feel like my major isn't a very helpful one. Which is partly why I tacked Anthropology on, although right now that's just making things more confusing. XD And I will definitely need a better job before I even think about going to grad school :S
